Russia's Central Election Commission has summed up the results of the State Duma election. The United Russia party has secured 349 seats in the State Duma. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.
This was announced by the chairwoman of Russia's Central Election Commission, Ella Pamfilova.
How the voting took place
From September 18 to 20, elections were held for deputies of the ninth convocation of the State Duma, along with other elections. On the single voting day of 2026, a total of 20.7 thousand deputy mandates and elected positions were filled.
United Russia's mandates
"United Russia received 349 mandates: 140 of them by the federal district, 209 by single-mandate electoral districts," Pamfilova said at a Central Election Commission meeting.
