Russia's Central Election Commission is publishing the first results of the State Duma elections. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.
The elections of deputies of the ninth convocation of the State Duma, along with other elections held at the same time, took place from 18 to 20 September.
Earlier, Russian President Vladimir Putin called the State Duma elections the most important domestic political event in the country.
Preliminary results of the Duma elections were published after 75% of protocols had been processed.
