Russian Duma elections: 8 polling stations open in Kazakhstan

On the final day of voting in the elections to the State Duma of the Russian Federation, 8 polling stations have opened in Kazakhstan for Russian citizens. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.

Voting is taking place in the cities of Astana, Almaty, Uralsk, Ust-Kamenogorsk and Priozersk. The polling stations operate from 8:00 to 20:00.

To vote, a person must have a valid internal or foreign passport of the Russian Federation.

One of the first to vote in the State Duma elections was Metropolitan Alexander of Astana and Kazakhstan, who cast his ballot at a polling station in the capital.
