Police in Kyzylorda found a missing 6-year-old girl in the evening and handed her over to her mother, Polisia.kz reports. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.

Inspector of the patrol police battalion service Zangar Nuradinov and juvenile police inspector Damir Akhmetulla immediately began search operations after receiving the report.

«Police officers combed the courtyard area and took prompt measures to establish the child's whereabouts. During the search, law enforcement officers used a sound amplification device to call out the girl's name and ask residents for help,» the statement says.

It was established that the child had wandered far from home while playing.

«As a result of the search operations, the girl was found safe and handed over to her mother,» police say.

In this regard, police officers urged parents not to be indifferent to children's safety, not to leave them unattended and to constantly monitor their whereabouts.
