Emergency workers in Kyzylorda extinguished a large fire that engulfed a construction materials store, a private residential house, and a metal container. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Kursiv Media.

The fire report was received at the 112 emergency center. The fire broke out on Yesakhaev Street in the suburban village of Kyzylzharma. The first firefighting units arriving at the scene found that the fire had already spread to several structures.

"During extinguishing, emergency workers removed a gas cylinder from the fire zone. This prevented a possible explosion and more serious consequences," the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Kazakhstan reported.

The fire was fully extinguished. According to rescuers, there were no casualties. Thanks to the prompt actions of emergency workers, severe consequences were avoided. The cause of the fire is currently being investigated.
