In Kyzylorda, 22-year-old blogger Shugyla Sabit, known on TikTok as SHUGYLA, was arrested after posts about a conflict with police. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Kursiv Media.
She was found guilty of disturbing the peace, disobeying lawful police demands, petty hooliganism, and spreading false information, police said.
Fines and warning
In addition to arrest, the girl was fined administratively and given an official warning. After that, she deleted the relevant posts from social media.
Police statement
Police recalled that earlier the girl had spread information that she was allegedly held accountable "for laughter." Law enforcement called this information false and noted that the posts also showed disrespect towards authorities.
Incident details
Earlier, Kursiv reported that blogger SHUGYLA complained on TikTok about police actions. According to police, the incident occurred around 1 a.m.: officers noticed a car with open windows from which music was playing, and the girl inside was shouting loudly and disturbing the peace.
Police then said they checked the driver's documents, explained the reason for the stop, and limited themselves to a verbal warning without issuing a fine. The conversation was recorded on officers' dashcams, and no violations were found on their part. The Ministry of Internal Affairs also said that the girl's actions regarding possible disrespect towards authorities and spreading false information would be given a legal assessment.
