An internal investigation has been launched in Kyzylorda after a video emerged showing a police officer using obscene language while speaking to a man. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Ulysmedia.kz.

The video spread on social media. According to the publication, the footage shows a conflict on a stairwell. A man off-camera asks questions to an officer in uniform, but the officer responds with obscene language.

After that, the officer enters a service room, presumably a police station or office, and closes the door.

"An internal investigation is being conducted regarding this publication. Based on the results of the investigation, a procedural decision will be made in accordance with the requirements of the law," the press service of the Kyzylorda Regional Police Department reported.

The department also stated that work to prevent such incidents is carried out on a systematic basis.

"Any illegal actions will be given a strict legal assessment. Ensuring legality and order is our main task," the police department noted.

Earlier, Kursiv reported that a man in Astana behaved aggressively and used obscene language on a bus. The police found him via video recording and arrested him for 15 days.
