In Kyzylorda, a department head who illegally interfered in entrepreneurial activity will pay a fine. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.

According to the Prosecutor General's Office, the operational response measure was applied without prior coordination with prosecutor's offices. At the same time, the relevant decision was sent for coordination only after it had been adopted.

As a result of a check conducted by the prosecutor's office, coordination of the decision was refused due to its unfounded nature. In order to eliminate the identified violations of the law, the city prosecutor's office submitted an act of prosecutorial supervision to the Department of Sanitary and Epidemiological Control of Kyzylorda Region.

Following consideration of the said act, the operational response measure illegally applied to the investor was annulled. In addition, for illegal interference in entrepreneurial activity, the head and chief specialist of the city department were held administratively liable under Part 1 of Article 173 of the Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan on Administrative Offenses. Each of them was fined 432,500 tenge.

According to prosecutors, protecting the rights of investors and entrepreneurs, as well as ensuring legality in the exercise of state control, are priority areas of the prosecutor's offices' activity.
