A 19-year-old man lost both legs in a ride accident at the 'Aray' park in Kyzylorda. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.
Doctors were forced to amputate both legs of the patient. He is currently receiving treatment at the multidisciplinary regional hospital. According to doctors, the young man was brought in in serious condition.
"A patient born in 2007 was urgently operated on. Amputation of the left leg at the level of the upper third of the thigh and amputation of the right leg at the level of the ankle joint were performed," said doctors from the multidisciplinary regional hospital.
A criminal case has been opened on the grounds of "violation of labor protection rules that negligently caused serious harm to health." The police department of Kyzylorda region reported that an investigation is underway.
