In Kyzylorda, the family of a teenager killed by bullies in front of his mother demands an honest investigation. According to relatives, the boy received a fatal wound to the heart area. Police have opened two criminal cases at once. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Kursiv Media.
The tragedy, which occurred on October 21, was written about on Threads by the teenager's sister. According to her, her brother died on the spot before the ambulance arrived.
As NewTimes.kz specifies, the fatal blow to the child's chest was inflicted with a screwdriver.
The sister of the deceased claims that a 13-year-old teenager is involved in the incident. The family fears that he may avoid responsibility and does not rule out the involvement of other people. Relatives are asking police and prosecutors to check the actions of everyone who could have been involved in the boy's death.
"We want the truth about this tragedy to be fully revealed and justice to prevail," wrote the sister of the deceased.
The police department of the Kyzylorda region reported that they are investigating intentional infliction of grave bodily harm, which negligently caused the death of a minor.
"The suspected teenager was placed in the regional Center for Adaptation of Minors. A criminal case has also been registered for failure to fulfill duties regarding the upbringing of a minor," the department said.
It is specified that the department's leadership has taken the investigation under special control. Police are not disclosing other details, citing Article 201 of the Criminal Procedure Code.
Earlier in the Zhetysu region, a schoolboy died after a conflict with a classmate. Police opened a murder case and also launched an investigation into school employees responsible for children's safety.
