Three people have been detained following the death of a 20-year-old man in Kyzylorda, police report. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.
According to the deceased man's sister, the tragedy occurred on October 8 near a cafe. About 12 people attacked her brother, beat him, and stabbed him three times in the heart area.
Relatives are demanding that all those responsible be held accountable and that the case be handled fairly.
"Three suspects have been detained and placed in a temporary detention facility," police said.
Video recordings from the scene are currently being examined. The actions of other individuals involved in the conflict are also being investigated, according to the statement.
