Three citizens of Uzbekistan died in a road accident in the Kyzylorda region. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Kursiv Media.

According to the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Uzbekistan, the accident occurred on August 22 at 06:47 on the 1831–1836 km of the Karabutak – Kyzylorda – Shymkent highway near the village of Birkazan. A Nexia-2 car and a KamAZ truck collided.

Three Uzbek citizens who were in the Nexia-2 cabin died at the scene. The condition of the KamAZ driver is not reported.

"Currently, responsible employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations are in constant contact with their Kazakh colleagues and are jointly working to determine the causes of the road traffic accident," the Ministry concluded.

The Ministry of Emergency Situations of Uzbekistan reported that a working group has been formed together with responsible agencies. It is engaged in organizing the delivery of the bodies of the deceased to their homeland and providing necessary assistance to their relatives.

Earlier, Kursiv wrote about an accident involving an employee of the branch of the NJSC "Government for Citizens" in the Almaty region. Then a Kia Sorento hit a 77-year-old woman who was crossing the road in an unspecified place. She died from her injuries.
