In the Almaty region, rescuers from the Ministry of Emergency Situations conducted a complex operation to evacuate a victim from a height of 3010 meters near Bukreev Peak. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Kursiv Media.

According to preliminary data from the Ministry of Emergency Situations, the girl fell from a cliff, sustained a head injury, and could not move independently. Before the rescuers arrived, a witness provided first aid.

The rescue operation involved employees of the Republican Rescue Service "Barys" of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Rescue Service of the Department of Emergency Situations of Almaty. A helicopter of JSC "Kazaviaspas" was used to evacuate the victim.

After being lifted from the mountainous area, the girl was taken to the Medeu helipad, where she was handed over to a team of the Disaster Medicine Center of the Ministry of Emergency Situations for further medical assistance.

Earlier, Kursiv reported how an 18-year-old tourist was injured on the way from the Big Almaty Lake. She broke her leg at an altitude of about 2300 meters.
