In China, authorities have evacuated over 420,000 people due to the powerful Typhoon Dolphin. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Kursiv Media.

In Taizhou city, Zhejiang province, more than 390,000 people were temporarily moved to safety. In Shanghai, over 30,000 residents of coastal areas were evacuated.

The China Meteorological Administration raised the typhoon response level from fourth to third on August 8. China has a four-level emergency response system, with level one being the highest.

According to meteorologists, Typhoon Dolphin, with wind speeds exceeding 40 m/s, will move from the sea to the eastern coast of China on the night of August 9-10.
