China has asserted its right to target people overseas under a new ethnic unity law. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Reuters.
Chinese authorities stated that the new law is aimed at strengthening ethnic unity but will also apply to Chinese citizens abroad. The law prohibits actions that incite ethnic hatred and criminalizes acts against China's ethnic policies.
