The Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) has extended the anti-dumping duty on aluminum tableware imported from China. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.
According to the commission's press service, the EEC Board extended the anti-dumping duty on aluminum tableware from the People's Republic of China until May 28, 2027, inclusive.
The EEC recalled that the current measure was due to expire on September 24, 2026. However, a corresponding application was received by the commission's Department for Internal Market Protection. As a result, a re-investigation was initiated.
The EAEU regulatory framework provides for extending the anti-dumping duty until the re-investigation is completed. This investigation must be completed within 12 months from the date of initiation, the EEC trade bloc reported.
The anti-dumping duty on aluminum tableware from China is 21.89%.
