In September of this year, 106 corruption offenses were registered in Kazakhstan. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.

The majority of registered crimes relate to facts of bribery, theft, fraud, illegal actions and abuse of official powers.

According to the National Security Committee, 93 people have been recognized as suspects in criminal cases. The investigation of 81 criminal cases has been completed, and 78 of them have been sent to court.

The damage caused by completed criminal cases amounted to 3.7 billion tenge.

Earlier, it was also reported that anti-corruption measures would be strengthened by the Akorda.
