Kyrgyzstan has submitted an official request for fuel supplies from Kazakhstan. This was announced by Vice Minister of Energy Kaiyrkhan Tutkyshbaev during a briefing at the government. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.
Vice Minister Kaiyrkhan Tutkyshbaev confirmed that an official request was received from Kyrgyzstan. He noted that the issue is being considered. "No official requests have been received from Russia. However, an official request has come from Kyrgyzstan. But all our decisions will be made taking into account our national interests," said Tutkyshbaev.
According to him, there are sufficient fuel reserves to meet domestic demand. A sharp increase in prices will not be allowed.
