The Central Election Commission announced the preliminary results of the Qurultai elections. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.
According to the preliminary results, the votes were distributed as follows:
- 01Adilet party – 71.17%
- 02OSDP party – 5.11%
- 03Baitak Green Party – 1.07%
- 04People's Party of Kazakhstan – 3.11%
- 05Auyl party – 6.26%
- 06Ak Zhol party – 5.21%
- 07Respublica party – 5.56%
- 08Against all – 2.51%
Thus, 5 parties pass to the new Qurultai. The parties that overcame the 5% threshold are Adilet, OSDP, Auyl, Ak Zhol and Respublica.
In total, 545 candidates were nominated from 7 parties. The Qurultai will have 145 deputy mandates. Each party will receive deputy seats depending on the number of votes gained.
