The President of Kazakhstan signed a decree "On convening the first session of the Kurultai of the Republic of Kazakhstan of the first convocation." This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.

The decree states: "The first session of the Kurultai of the Republic of Kazakhstan of the first convocation shall be convened on August 28, 2026, at 11:00 in Astana."

Thus, the names of 145 deputies will be known by Friday. According to the law, deputy mandates are distributed based on the votes received by parties in the election.

According to preliminary calculations, the distribution of 145 mandates is as follows:

  • 01"Adilet" – 110 mandates;
  • 02"Auyldy" – 10 mandates;
  • 03Respublica – 9 mandates;
  • 04"Ak Zhol" – 8 mandates;
  • 05OSDP – 8 mandates.

Recall that yesterday the Central Election Commission published the final results of the Kurultai elections.
