Chairman of Kurultai Aibek Dadebai held a bureau meeting. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.

The meeting discussed the implementation of presidential instructions and the preparation of the Kurultai regulations. According to the official statement, inventorying current legislation and aligning it with the new Constitution was identified as one of the priority tasks.

This work will be included in the work plans of relevant committees along with the priorities outlined by President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, as well as pressing socio-economic and socio-political issues.

Deputies will work on the development of artificial intelligence and digital assets, improving migration policy, supporting children with special needs, ensuring energy sustainability and developing alternative energy, as well as regulating online platforms and media, among other issues.

Additionally, priority will be given to the republican budget for the next three years. Dadebai stressed the need to enhance the effectiveness of parliamentary control, ensure constant communication between deputies and the public, and accelerate the implementation of the "E-Parliament" system.

It is worth noting that Tokayev outlined important tasks facing deputies at the first session of the Kurultai.
