The Central Election Commission held its first meeting regarding the upcoming Kurultai elections. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.
During the meeting, commission members approved the election plan. According to the plan, party lists will be submitted from July 2 to July 13. Registration of party lists will be completed by July 23 at 18:00. Pre-election campaigning will take place from July 23 at 18:01 to August 22 at 00:00. August 22 is a day of silence, and voting will take place on August 23.
Additionally, from July 11, the composition and locations of territorial election commissions will be published. From August 7, voters will be able to check their presence in the lists.
It is worth noting that today the president signed a decree on holding the Kurultai elections.
