The Central Election Commission announced the preliminary results of the Kurultai elections. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.
According to the number of votes, 5 parties that exceeded the five percent threshold entered the new Kurultai. These are the parties "Adilet", "JSDP", "Auyl", "Ak Zhol" and "Respublica".
In total, 545 candidates were nominated from 7 parties. The Kurultai will have 145 deputy mandates.
Each party will receive deputy seats depending on the number of votes collected.
