The Central Election Commission has registered the list of candidates proposed by another party. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.

Earlier, commission members had accepted the party lists of Respublica for registration. Today, candidates of the National Social Democratic Party were also registered. All 33 people were issued relevant certificates.

According to commission member Mikhail Bortnik, the party list includes 14 candidates belonging to the categories of women, youth and persons with disabilities, which is over 30 percent of the total. The quota requirements established by law have been met. The Central Election Commission, together with authorized state bodies, conducted an appropriate check on the candidates. Based on the results of the work carried out, all candidates included in the party list are recognized as meeting the requirements of the Constitution of Kazakhstan and the Constitutional Law "On Elections in the Republic of Kazakhstan".

It is worth noting that in the 2023 elections, the NSDP overcame the 5 percent threshold and entered the Majilis with four deputies. In this regard, the party is exempt from paying the fee for the Kurultai elections. Only two parties will pay the election fee.
