The Central Election Commission has registered the list of candidates proposed by the People's Party of Kazakhstan. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.
The People's Party of Kazakhstan has nominated 72 candidates for the upcoming elections. The Central Election Commission registered all candidates and handed over special candidate certificates to the party representative.
The list of the People's Party includes former deputies Irina Smirnova, Asylbek Nuralin and Kenzhegul Seitzhan. Among the famous people, singers Tamara Asar and Asha Matay can be noted. Also included in the party list is teacher Igor Gnoevoy, who gained fame on TikTok. In addition, a former senator and a former vice-minister will run for election from this party.
The People's Party is exempt from the election deposit, as it exceeded the 5 percent threshold in the previous elections and entered the Majilis.
