The Central Election Commission has registered the list of candidates proposed by the Ak Zhol party. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.
Ak Zhol submitted a list of 69 people for the upcoming Kurultai election. The Central Election Commission registered all of them and handed over special candidate certificates.
Earlier, the commission had registered the lists of Respublica and the OSDP. One candidate from Respublica refused to participate in the election.
The party list of Ak Zhol includes entrepreneurs, teachers, former police officers, lawyers, and other specialists. The list also includes former deputies who worked in the Mazhilis for a long time: Azat Peruashev (14 years), Daniya Yespayeva (10 years), Yerlan Barlybayev (10 years), Berik Duysenbinov (7 years).
In addition, Kazybek Isa, Serik Yerubayev, Maksat Ramankulov, Yerzhan Beisenbayev, Yuri Li, Andrey Linnik, Yerlik Umirgali, and Olzhas Nuraldinov were Mazhilis deputies from Ak Zhol for 1-4 years. There are also new faces on the list.
