One of the candidates for the Kurultai deputy nominated by the Respublica party has withdrawn from the election. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.
Respublica had submitted a party list of 76 people to the Central Election Commission. According to commission secretary Shavkat Utemisov, on July 11, one of the candidates, Saniya Temirgaliyeva, submitted a request to voluntarily withdraw from the party list.
Today, the Central Election Commission adopted a corresponding resolution and excluded Saniya Bakytzhanovna Temirgaliyeva from the party list of the public association "Respublica Party". Also today, the party list of Respublica, consisting of 75 candidates, was registered.
It is worth noting that Saniya Temirgaliyeva was included in the party list as the chairwoman of the ResWoman women's association in the Kostanay region.
