Today, after the opening of the first session, the deputies gathered in their building. Before starting work, each deputy must take an oath.
The text of the deputies' oath: "I swear to serve the people of Kazakhstan faithfully, to strengthen the integrity and independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan, to strictly obey its Constitution and laws, to faithfully fulfill the high duties of a deputy entrusted to me," the deputies said.
It is worth noting that former Majilis deputies also took the oath with the same text. But at that time, the last words of the oath were "I swear to faithfully fulfill the high duties of a deputy entrusted to me".
