Chairman of the Board of the national company Kazakhstan Railways Talgat Aldybergenov announced the average salary of employees. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.
Today at a government briefing, journalists asked the head of the company: "Does the management of Kazakhstan Railways consider the salaries of ordinary employees working at stations and depots to be adequate and sufficient for the economic situation?"
At that time, the chairman of the board replied: "Yes, we do."
After that, he disclosed the current average salary. "Currently, our average salary is 650,000 tenge. But depending on the coefficient in each region, for example, machinists receive 1,400,000 tenge. Sailors also receive a similar salary there," said Aldybergenov.
Today, the Aktau International Sea Port is also under the national company Kazakhstan Railways. At today's briefing, specialists with the lowest salaries in this field were also named. Their salary is 377,000 tenge.
