Children's Rights Commissioner Dinara Zakieva reported to President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev on the work being done to protect children's rights. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.
According to Dinara Zakieva, the concept "Children of Kazakhstan" was adopted this year. The document includes 158 measures to strengthen social support and protect children's rights.
"This year, monitoring of the situation in 9 regions was carried out, and the quality of measures aimed at ensuring the psychological well-being of children and preventing violations of their rights was studied," the message said.
The President was informed about the creation of Psychological Support Centers and the introduction of a unified program for determining psychological well-being. This contributed to the systematic assistance to children who need special attention and support at the local level.
Dinara Zakieva also focused on the work on applications received by the 111 state contact center. The introduction of the QR-111 system in schools has proven effective in establishing direct communication with children and identifying violations of their rights.
Since the launch of this tool, i.e., from October 2024 to June 2026, 167,000 messages and 4,523 calls have been received from children.
