A pensioner in Kostanay has been fined for insulting a medical worker and threatening to use physical force against him. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.
According to the regional court, an administrative case was opened against the pensioner under Part 2 of Article 80-1 of the Code of Administrative Offenses. The incident occurred on July 16 of this year in the building of the "Bios" institution.
"Deliberate disrespect towards a medical worker, insulting him and threatening to use physical force," the court stated.
The court reported that the accused is over 70 years old. He had not previously been held administratively or criminally liable. Taking these circumstances into account, the court imposed an administrative fine of 30 monthly calculation indices.
In accordance with legal requirements, the fine amount was reduced by 30% and amounted to 90,825 tenge.
