A tragic road accident occurred near Zhailma village on the Kostanay – Karabutak highway in Kostanay region. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.
As a result of the collision between a Chevrolet Cobalt and a Jetour X70, one of the drivers died at the scene. The remaining five people were taken to the hospital. Police have initiated a pre-trial investigation into the incident, the regional police department said.
The police urged drivers to strictly follow traffic rules, avoid speeding, and be extremely cautious on the roads.
