The activities of the Svetofor children's health center in the Kostanay region have been suspended due to gross violations of sanitary norms. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.

According to the Ministry of Health, during an inspection, specialists found violations of requirements for catering, water supply, sanitary condition of the territory and premises, as well as mandatory medical examinations of staff.

After reviewing the case materials, the court decided to suspend the center's activities. The previously issued sanitary-epidemiological conclusion was revoked.

In addition, the ministry conducted an internal investigation into officials who allowed violations when issuing the sanitary-epidemiological conclusion. As a result, the guilty persons were brought to disciplinary responsibility.

It is worth recalling that a video showing the appalling conditions in the camp, including children's sleeping places and toilet, was previously circulated on social media.
