In Zhitikara, Kostanay Region, a Lada Kalina car collided with a locomotive at a railway crossing. No one was injured, the regional police department reported. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Kursiv Media.
The accident occurred early in the morning on October 9. According to police, the driver of the passenger car ignored the prohibiting traffic light signal and drove onto the railway tracks, where the collision occurred.
An administrative case has been opened against the driver.
Police reminded of the need to comply with traffic rules and to be especially attentive at railway crossings, paying attention to road signs and traffic light signals.
