In the Kostanay region, patrol police officers using a drone detected a driver of a heavy truck who had never obtained a driver's license. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Polisia.kz.
According to Polisia.kz, during aerial monitoring, police noticed a Shacman truck carrying bulk cargo without a protective cover. As a result, part of the cargo spilled onto the roadway.
After stopping the vehicle, inspectors found other violations. The truck's windshield was damaged, and operating a vehicle with such a defect is prohibited. Additionally, the front license plate was improperly attached — it was under the windshield instead of in the designated place.
"The most serious violation was that the driver had never obtained a driver's license, despite driving a heavy truck, posing a threat to other road users. An administrative case has been initiated on this fact," police noted.
The police reminded that the use of drones helps quickly identify dangerous violations, prevent possible accidents, and improve road safety.
Earlier, Kursiv reported on "talking" drones patrolling beaches in Kazakhstan. In the Abai region, drones detected nearly 30,000 drivers without seat belts.
