In the village of Oktyabrsky, Lisakovsk, Kostanay region, a child fell into a sewer collector well. Police are conducting an investigation into the incident. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Liter.kz.
Information about the incident emerged after local residents appealed. According to them, the accident occurred on July 4. Eyewitnesses said that after the fall, an ambulance was immediately called for the boy. Medics examined the child and provided necessary assistance. Preliminary reports indicate that serious injuries were avoided.
The Kostanay Regional Police Department confirmed that the circumstances of the incident are being clarified.
"Currently, all circumstances of the incident are being established. Based on the results of the investigation, a procedural decision will be made in accordance with current legislation," the police reported.
The department also clarified that no official statements have been received from the child's legal representatives, and no claims against third parties have been made at this time.
Additionally, a directive has been issued to the authorized state bodies to eliminate identified violations that may pose a threat to safety and cause similar incidents. The execution of the directive is under police control.
