The gasification project of the city of Kosshy has been fully completed. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.
Today, all microdistricts of the city, as well as the "Lesnaya Polyana" residential area and the Diamond Park residential complex, have been connected to gas. Thus, about 72,000 people have gained access to blue fuel.
According to ministry specialists, over 357 kilometers of gas distribution networks were built for the gasification of Kosshy, and one block-type and 44 cabinet-type gas regulation points were installed.
Currently, natural gas is available in 24 settlements of the Akmola region. In 2027–2028, it is planned to gasify another 12 settlements in the Arshaly and Tselinograd districts.
It is worth noting that, according to the head of state's instruction, by 2035 the level of gasification in the country should be increased from the current 64.2% to 80%.
