A six-year-old boy drowned in a swimming pool in the city of Kosshy. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.
The incident occurred on July 17 at 20:37. The child fell into a pool on the territory of a residential complex and drowned. An ambulance arrived at the scene but could not save the boy.
Law enforcement agencies are investigating the circumstances. According to preliminary data, the child was left unsupervised by his parents and approached the pool. A forensic medical examination has been ordered.
This is not the first tragic incident in a pool in Kosshy. Local authorities urge residents to monitor children's safety.
