Chairman of the Amanat party, Yerlan Koshanov, said what he will do after the decision to merge with the Adilet party. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.
Koshanov noted that he will complete the current session. "What will I do? I am the chairman of the Mazhilis until July 1. We still have a lot of work ahead, there are still laws to be passed. We are busy with that now," Koshanov said at a briefing after the Amanat congress.
When asked "Will you stay in the party?" he briefly replied: "I follow the decisions of our party." According to him, the merger of the two parties is not "saying goodbye or greeting someone." "We are moving forward, we live in the present. We are not looking back," the party leader said.
Recall that today at the congress of the Amanat party, participants unanimously approved the decision to merge with the Adilet party.
