Chairman of the Amanat party Yerlan Koshanov explained the reasons for merging with the Adilet party. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.
Today at the Amanat congress, a decision was made to merge with the new Adilet party. After the meeting, journalists asked Koshanov: "Isn't this a betrayal of Amanat?"
According to the party chairman, forces supporting the president should unite into a single fist. "This is not a betrayal of the Amanat members. Because betrayal is instability, deviation from one's ideas and principles. We, while moving to the united party, remain with our ideas and political platform. We are rising to a new level," Koshanov said.
He particularly noted that the ideology and principles of both parties are the same. "Even our political platforms are the same. Our electorate voting for us is also the same. Therefore, we decided to work shoulder to shoulder," Koshanov emphasized.
It is worth noting that the newly formed Adilet party will also hold a congress next Sunday. The name of the united party will be announced after the Adilet congress.
