Defense Minister Aidos Myrzakhmetov met with an initiative group composed of relatives of service members who died and suffered severe injuries during military service in various years. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.
The meeting was also attended by the Chief Military Prosecutor and representatives of the National Guard of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan. This was announced by the ministry's press service.
Minister's statement
The Ministry of Defense shares the grief of the families of fallen and affected service members and treats their relatives' appeals with understanding, the minister noted in his remarks.
"Every appeal will be carefully considered and receive a specific response," Aidos Myrzakhmetov emphasized.
Promise of personal review
At the end of the meeting, Aidos Myrzakhmetov stated that he would personally familiarize himself with each case and study the submitted materials.
