In Mangystau Region, Defense Minister, Aviation Lieutenant General Dauren Kosanov visited the families of servicemen who died while performing a combat training task during an exercise. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.
The minister expressed his condolences to the relatives and loved ones of the deceased. He noted that the grief of families who have lost loved ones cannot be eased by any words.
The Minister's apology
During the meeting, the Defense Minister asked for forgiveness on behalf of the entire Armed Forces.
"I ask for forgiveness. On behalf of the entire armed forces, I ask for forgiveness... They are not just servicemen for us – they are our comrades-in-arms, our sons and brothers. Their death is an irreparable and grave loss for the entire Armed Forces. We share the grief of their relatives and loved ones and will be together during this difficult period," said the Defense Minister.
The fallen servicemen
Meirambek Berdikhanov, Azamat Madikhan and Dastan Begei were called up for compulsory military service from the city of Zhanaozen, and Miras Turdybekuly from the village of Zhetibai. During their service, they proved themselves to be responsible and disciplined servicemen, faithfully performing their military duty.
