A conscript fell from a fourth-floor window at one of the military units in the Konayev garrison and was injured. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.
According to the Air Assault Forces of the Armed Forces, the serviceman was immediately taken to a medical facility, where he is currently receiving the necessary medical care. His condition is under the supervision of doctors.
Before the incident, the serviceman had not complained about the conditions of military service. Prior to the incident, his parents visited the military unit and met with their son. During the meeting, no requests or complaints were received from them.
A criminal case has been opened by the Military Investigation Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Necessary investigative actions are currently underway.
In addition, the Ministry of Defense has ordered an internal inspection and established a special commission.
