In the city of Qonaev, rescuers assisted a child who was left alone in an apartment. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.
The emergency service received a report that a child born in 2020 was left at home without supervision.
"Upon arrival, rescuers entered the apartment through a second-floor balcony using a three-section ladder," the Ministry of Emergency Situations statement said.
Rescuers handed the child over to the parents safe and sound. The child did not require medical assistance.
The Ministry of Emergency Situations urged parents not to leave small children unattended. To prevent situations that threaten the lives and health of children, safety measures must be strictly observed.
