According to the schedule published by the Muftiyat, in 2027 the month of Ramadan will begin on February 8. This marks the start of the holy month of fasting.

The Night of Destiny (Laylat al-Qadr) falls on the night of March 5-6. This night is especially revered in Islamic tradition.
