On July 5, adverse meteorological conditions are expected in Uralsk, Aktobe, Zhezkazgan, Balkhash, and at night in Atyrau, Kazhydromet reported. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Kursiv Media.

According to weather forecasters, conditions conducive to the accumulation of pollutants in the surface layer of the atmosphere are predicted in these cities.

As experts explained, adverse weather conditions occur when calm, weak wind, fog, and temperature inversion combine. As a result, pollutants accumulate in the surface layer of the atmosphere, leading to deterioration of air quality.

Forecasters warn that during such periods, the risk of negative health impacts increases, especially for people with chronic diseases.

The level of air pollution is affected by wind speed, precipitation, humidity, and air temperature.

Residents are advised to reduce time spent outdoors, especially near roads and other sources of pollution. Children and pregnant women are advised to avoid long walks.

People with respiratory and cardiovascular diseases, as well as allergy sufferers, are recommended to carry necessary medications. Specialists advise limiting physical activity outdoors and, if possible, moving activities indoors.
