A monobreed dog show dedicated to evaluating the breeding qualities of the Kazakh Tazy was held in Astana. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.
The monobreed show was organized at the venue of an international exhibition featuring all dog breeds, providing an opportunity to present Kazakh Tazy dogs to foreign experts, cynologists and breeders.
During the show, the Kazakh Tazy dogs underwent a special expert evaluation, which examined their breed characteristics and compliance with established standards.
Another focus of the show was a breed competition. Here, the breeding qualities of the dogs were assessed, and owners of dogs that met the requirements were issued international-format certificates of origin, according to the Astana city akimat.
This document allows the dog to be included in the official breeding system and creates accurate data about its origin.
The president of the Kazakhstan Cynologists Union, Baurzhan Serikkali, noted that the main goal of such events is not only to identify the best dogs at the show, but also to systematically breed Kazakh Tazy dogs.
