According to the results of January-April 2026, Kazakhstan's foreign trade turnover reached $44.9 billion, the Bureau of National Statistics reported. This is a nominal increase of 7.9% compared to the same period last year. Export volume amounted to $24 billion, and import volume to $20.9 billion. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.

Major supplier countries to Kazakhstan included: Russia ($6.6 billion), China ($6 billion), Germany ($1 billion), USA ($0.9 billion), South Korea ($0.5 billion). Main destinations for Kazakhstan's exports: China ($4.9 billion), Italy ($4 billion), Russia ($2 billion), Turkey ($1.7 billion), Uzbekistan ($1.4 billion).

"The indicators for January-April 2026 show that positive dynamics in Kazakhstan's foreign trade have been maintained and that trade turnover with key international partners is steadily growing," said bureau experts.
