Anti-terrorism exercises will be held in Kurchatov and Balkhash, announced the operational headquarters for combating terrorism of the Abai and Karaganda regions. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Kursiv Media.
In Kurchatov, the exercises are scheduled for June 26 at 08:00. They will be conducted by the city operational headquarters for combating terrorism. The purpose of the event is to check the readiness of forces and means of law enforcement and special agencies to respond to possible terrorist threats. Restrictive measures will be provided in the area of the exercise facilities.
In Balkhash, the anti-terrorism exercise will take place on June 25 from 22:00 to 02:00 on the territory of school No. 12. During this time, temporary restrictions on vehicle traffic and movement of citizens are possible in the city.
The organizers urged residents to remain calm, trust only official sources of information, and not spread false information.
Earlier, Kursiv reported that the largest military exercises of five countries started in Kazakhstan.
