In January-June, Kazakhstan's trade with the countries of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) grew by 8.7% to reach $15 billion. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.

According to the Bureau of National Statistics, the volume of mutual trade between Kazakhstan and Russia increased significantly in the first half of 2026. In particular, Russia increased supplies to Kazakhstan by 30.9%.

At the same time, Kazakhstan exported 8.6% more goods to Russia compared to the previous year. These figures indicate the strengthening of economic ties between the two countries.

Earlier it was reported that in 2025, the trade turnover between Russia and Kazakhstan amounted to $28 billion. These data confirm the positive dynamics of integration processes within the EAEU.

It is also worth noting that the Eurasian Economic Union provides itself with food by 93.5%. This indicator is an important achievement in ensuring food security of the union's countries.
